Mixr was created by a couple of friends who saw some glaring holes in the modern dating landscape.

We felt that dating apps are not actually helping those who wanted genuine connections, let alone those who actually want to meet in person. Going out and meeting people at events, especially those with the same interests and passions, wasn't so straightforward either. We firmly believe that some aspect of dating and socializing disappeared in recent years as we all collectively began doing everything on our phones.

After some brainstorming, our concept to solve these issues and find that something was born: an event-based dating app to help you find that special person in the crowd you're already in.
